Your donation makes a lasting impact on those living with Parkinson’s
Pioneering the future of Parkinson’s care
Every donation we receive helps us offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies and purchase essential equipment to support people living with Parkinson’s. Your gift ensures that the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy can continue providing life-changing care for our members.
In addition, your support will help drive vital research into Parkinson’s treatments, including non-drug therapies and new approaches to symptom management.
Your generosity will bring hope to hundreds of people—whether in Kent or beyond—by sharing knowledge and advancing care.

– A gift of £360 could fund a programme of four specialist therapy sessions, such as neurophysiotherapy, speech and language therapy, counselling or occupational therapy.

– A gift of £7,500 could buy a neurostimulation unit to help pioneer a new treatment for Parkinson’s disease.
Ways to give
At the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy (PCIT), we are grateful for every donation made towards improving the lives of individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Your support helps us to provide vital therapies which enable our members to live better for longer. There are various ways in which you can make a difference.

Make a financial contribution
A direct financial gift is one of the most powerful ways to support the Centre. Whether it’s a one-time donation or a recurring gift, your generosity directly funds services and equipment which improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease. Every £1 counts and helps us to continue offering life-changing care.
Take part in a challenge event
Get active and raise funds for PCIT by participating in a challenge event such as a marathon, walk, assault course or skydive! Ask your friends and family to sponsor you, and together, we can raise awareness and vital funds for our cause. Challenge events are a great way to combine your ‘bucket list’ with your desire to give back to the Parkinson’s community. You can set up your fundraising page here.

Seek donations in lieu of gifts
Celebrate a special occasion by asking for donations to PCIT in place of traditional gifts. Whether it’s for a wedding, birthday or anniversary, this is a meaningful way to share your joy with others whilst supporting a cause close to your heart. Your friends and family will appreciate the opportunity to contribute to something truly impactful.
Establish a Memorial Fund
Honour the memory of a loved one by establishing a memorial fund for PCIT. This lasting tribute can be a meaningful way to celebrate their life whilst helping others who are living with Parkinson’s. Memorial donations can fund equipment or services which will make a difference to the lives of our members and their families.

Leave a Legacy
Leaving a gift in your will is a powerful way to ensure that your support for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy lives on for years to come. A legacy gift allows you to make a lasting impact and help future generations of people living with Parkinson’s. Your thoughtful bequest will help us secure the future of vital services and therapies. To find our more, visit the University’s website.
Give a Gift-in-Kind
In-kind gifts, such as equipment, art work, catering provisions or other items needed at PCIT, are always appreciated. Your contribution of physical goods can directly enhance the services we provide, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to support our members in their journey with Parkinson’s.

“This is the first time in 3 years I have been able to exercise and been given the opportunity to move. It is such a good feeling. Both Clare and Sarah are lovely”

“I feel both proud and privileged to be the Patron of this centre. It is a brilliant idea, and like many a brilliant idea it seems simple and obvious –but only in retrospect, once someone has had the thought and pushed it with determination. All kudos to Prof David Wilkinson.“
