A donor’s generous gift to the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy

We are most grateful to Paula Vickers for making a generous donation of £1,000 to the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy (PCIT), a cause close to her heart. Her father lived with Parkinson’s for many years and Paula often wished that a facility like PCIT had been available to provide him with the support he needed during his illness. Motivated by her father’s experience, she decided to contribute to a place which helps others facing similar challenges.

Today, Paula had the opportunity to visit the Centre and see for herself the impact her donation would have on our members. She was able to witness firsthand how PCIT’s services make a real difference to the lives of people living with Parkinson’s, providing integrated therapies that enhance their quality of life.

Paula said, “The work PCIT does is incredibly important. I’m pleased to help and I encourage others to support the Centre if they can. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference in improving lives and supporting people who need it most.”

Her donation will directly help the Centre to continue its vital work in offering a range of therapies which provide both physical and emotional support to those living with Parkinson’s. With her gift, Paula is helping ensure that others have access to the care and resources her father may have benefited from.

The Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy is deeply grateful for her support.
